11 Jan 2018 A Hotel Group is Using New Light Technology to Project Ads into the Sky
Hotel group Marriott is taking a big step into the direction of futuristic marketing.
They’ve launched a campaign that uses a new technology (Lightvert’s ECHO) with a technique called persistence of vision. Ads are projected by a thin vertical strip of light in the sky shown across London’s River Thames for three days, seen for less than a quarter of a second, only when the viewer moves his or her head.
This Lightvert’s ECHO technology uses the concept of “low attention processing,” proving that advertising messages can be effective even if someone is not paying active attention to them.
Learn more about this fascinating and groundbreaking technology, and who will be using it next!
